Our pastor is Grant Kolkow. He and his beautiful spouse Linda have been married for thirty-six years. They are blessed with six grown children and fifteen grandchildren. At the age of seven, God graciously enabled Grant to understand his sinfulness, the importance of the cross, and his need for personal repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus. This occurred while reading from a children’s Bible storybook. At the age of ten, he was baptized by immersion. Although his childhood and adolescent years were blessed, but marked with instability, God continued to prove His faithfulness to him by increasing his knowledge of the importance of Christ and His Holy Scripture. At the age of twenty-three, he responded to God’s call to vocational ministry. He received his ministry ordination from Takilma Bible Church located outside of Cave Junction, Oregon. His educational background includes an A.S. degree in general business and a B.S. degree in theological studies. Also, he was blessed to receive his Masters of Divinity (2003) and Doctor of Ministry (2013) in expository preaching from the Master’s Seminary located in the Los Angeles area. Besides his twenty-five years of pastoral experience, Grant has also served as a chaplain in detention and business settings. He loves to read (particularly theology and the Puritans), to wrestle with his grandchildren, and to play any game he wins.
